Finnair migrated to the Avios system in early March, with changes to its redemption chart having taken effect already. The new prices should be synced and updated on ba.com as well.
There is, however, a pricing oddity for the Copenhagen – Doha route, as a business-class seat costs only 20,000 Avios plus around £40:
The route is operated by Qatar Airways too, who wants at least 43,000 Avios for business class. Finnair also runs Helsinki – Doha which costs 55,000 Avios one way. According to their redemption chart, it seems that Finnair has somehow placed CPH-DOH as an intra-European flight.
The route is operated by A330, but I’m not sure which cabin configuration is installed.
I can only see one seat available in business – is this correct for all dates?
Seems to be the case – however someone said they booked two seats on the same flight separately with two accounts
Any other routes with this pricing anomaly?
