It’s not confirmed, but I’ve heard rumours that the status nights earned via All Plus China will also be capped at 30, like the other programmes, starting from some time next year. If you value Accor’s Platinum status, it might be a good idea to jump onboard now.
Accor Plus
Meanwhle, Accor Plus also has a new promotion:
- Promotion period: 1–31 October
- Both new members and existing members renewing their membership can earn 3,000 Accor points
- Residents of South Korea are excluded
3,000 Accor points are worth €60, so this is a very generous return. Note that Accor Plus only increased its prices slightly on 1 October, so this promotion can almost be seen as compensation for the price rise — and the value of the bonus is considerably greater than the increase in membership cost.
I won’t go into too much detail about the usual Accor Plus benefits here. The complimentary BOGOF voucher, up to 30% off dining and regular 50% off hot room rates are all very useful, and the programme has also expanded beyond Asia Pacific into markets such as the UAE this year.
Finally- both All Plus China and Accor Plus can be combined nicely with the “one night to Platinum” fast-track promotion we mentioned last time. Just remember that the latter requires the qualifying stay to be in a qualifying country.
