Accor All Plus China 30-night credit promotion (Platinum fast track)

Accor has a paid membership program called All Plus in China – not to be confused with All Plus Ibis and All Plus Voyageur – which offers stay benefits for hotels in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

The program has three products, with different prices and benefits. Most importantly, all of them come with Accor status night credits too, which helps you achieve Accor status faster.

The 超悦 Suprem membership for example, which is the most expensive one (R.R.P. 2,688 CNY), offers Accor Gold status in the form of 30 night credits. There are two cheaper tiers 卓越 Premium (R.R.P. 1,488 CNY) and 欢悦 Basic (R.R.P. 499 CNY) that will award you 20 nights / 5 nights respectively.

You can mix and match with two or multiple purchases, but the maximum night credit you can earn in a calendar year is 50 (recently increased from 30). You can however, purchase two Premium cards for 40 night credits plus two sets of vouchers.

Buying both the Suprem and Premium cards will get you the full 50 night credits. You can also combine with Accor Plus or All Plus Ibis / Voyageur but there are rules.

  • You must purchase Accor Plus or All Plus Ibis / Voyageur first, and then All Plus China
  • The annual night credit limit is still 50

For example, buying Accor Plus (30) and then All Plus China Premium (20) will gain you a total of 50 night credits; if you reverse it however, you’ll only earn 30. Sadly you can no longer accumulate 60 nights to earn instant Platinum status, but still it’s close enough.

How you choose your mix & match strategy depends on your stay pattern. If you don’t tend to visit China, Accor Plus + All Plus China Premium might make more sense as the former’s benefits apply to the wider Asia Pacific region.

The catch is, All Plus China can only be purchased via Wechat and 飞猪 Fliggy. Here are the instructions on how to buy it.

1. Wechat

Simply scan the following QR code in Wechat, which redirects you to the product page in Accor’s Wechat mini-program.

If you click the three dots on the top right corner there’s a Translation tool that should translate the app text for you.

2. 飞猪 Fliggy

This is the product page. You need to create an Alibaba / Fliggy account first.

3. Alipay

The last option is Fliggy’s mini app on Alipay, Alibaba’s payment service. Open the Alipay app, and put 飞猪 in the search bar:

Open the 飞猪 Fliggy mini app, and put 臻享卡 in the search bar:

The first result is the Suprem membership. Similar to Wechat, Alipay also has a translation feature that produces an English overlay on your screen which can be very helpful.

Some notes:

  • Before purchasing you need to link your Accor account in the respective app. You cannot purchase the product for someone else
  • You can claim a refund, even after having activated the product
  • If you claim a refund, the night credits will be crawled back

I’m not too sure how easy the refund procedure is, but it seems more complicated than just clicking a button and you probably need to talk to someone in their online chat or over phone, so keep that in mind.

There’s no restriction on who can purchase the membership. For example your Accor account address doesn’t need to be in China. The All Plus card is very useful if you visit China – the two free night vouchers earn you back the cost themselves, let alone other benefits such as 50%-off vouchers, lounge access vouchers and dining discount.

Warning: a reader has pointed out that those without a Chinese ID cannot use those vouchers on Fliggy. Make sure to buy on Wechat instead if you intend to take advantage of those benefits.

P.S. there might be some issues with Apple ID (?) or residency in certain countries. There are some discussions in this Twitter thread by @ankurmittal.
