All Signature pre-Black Friday offer: buy Accor points at 29% off

It’s been a while since I last wrote about Accor’s ALL Signature program — over the past year they’ve had plenty of promotions, but most were too weak to be worth mentioning. Now, with Black Friday approaching, there’s finally a decent warm-up offer, and here’s a quick overview.

Interestingly, this is the first time I’ve seen separate codes for new and existing members. I tested the new member code and although it was validated successfully, when I clicked continue it threw an error message.

We’ve covered ALL Signature several times before. In short, it’s Accor’s paid subscription service. Each month, members receive a certain amount of Reward Points and Status Points. The former essentially means you’re buying points at a discount, while the latter helps you accelerate status qualification. Since Accor resets status points at the end of each year, it’s generally best to subscribe early in the year if you are aiming to upgrade your tier. ALL Signature also doesn’t conflict with other Accor programs like Accor Plus or All Plus China.

For reference, here’s the “cost per point” for the most expensive Absolute plan:

• Monthly: 454 BRL / €72.8 = 5,000 points → ~27% off
• Quarterly: 1,752 BRL / €281 = 15,000 points → ~6% off
• Annually: 6,620 BRL / €1,062 = 75,000 points → ~29% off

The value isn’t bad. Remember that Accor points have a fixed redemption value, and don’t expire as long as your account remains active. Therefore there’s no real devaluation risk.

If you’re planning to take advantage of the offer, I’d recommend starting with the monthly plan. Chances are there’ll be an even bigger Black Friday promotion at the end of the month. You can sign up to this offer now, and still participate again in early December.
