New: instant Preferred Hotels Titanium status

Preferred Hotels has some long-standing promotions with various partners to offer instant status upgrade opportunities in their iPrefer program, sometimes straight to the highest Titanium status.

Your account address needs to be in India for it to work.

Their terms and conditions suggests that those without or cancelling the Platinum card will have their Titanium status revoked, although I doubt they have the capability to check it.

If you have a World Elite Mastercard issued in Asia Pacific, you should go down that route which awards you 25,000 points after the first stay in addition to Titanium status. iPrefer also runs a status match program, according to Statusmatcher.

Courtesy of Choice I have stayed at a handful of Preferred Hotels now, and the experiences have been overall positive. Titanium benefits are not as good as say Marriott or Hilton, but room upgrade and late check-out are still nice to have.
