Hilton has been in the spotlight since the integration with SLH went live, and we have more development to cover today.
[Milaidhoo Maldives]
Milaidhoo became extremely popular immediately as reward nights included seaplane transfer and half-board – so popular that it was suspended on Hilton’s platform!
The star has made its return finally a few days ago, and according to Zaozao there’s sparse availability next year.
There has been a major update however, according to @lxfc on Flyertalk who contacted the hotel:
- New bookings no longer include dinner, but breakfast and seaplane transfer remain
- Existing bookings are not affected, even if you change the date
It’s not a surprise at all that they’ve made the cut.
[Europe]
Meanwhile more SLH sweet spots have been discovered. The first one is Hotel TwentySeven in Amsterdam, which is ranked one place higher than the Waldorf Astoria and also more expensive.
The entry-level room of the hotel is Junior Suite, which is at least 40 sqm.
The other one however is more interesting – Le Grand Bellevue, the best hotel at Gstaad Switzerland, which is a popular destination for skiing and hiking.
The nightly rates ranges from 700 CHF to 2,500 CHF and redemption costs 105,000 points per night.
It only operates in two seasons: winter season from December to March and summer season from June to September. In the winter season half-board is included for all guests but only breakfast in the summer.
Note that a minimum-stay requirement is imposed on many dates. With Hilton’s 5-for-4 benefit it costs 420,000 points to book five nights. Hilton is also running a 100% bonus buy-point promotion at the moment where it costs $5 to buy every 1,000 points.
Have you seen the new hotels in Brazil? Wonderful!!!!
