With the end of the year approaching, IHG’s fast-track promotions are back again, and there are two versions this time:
- Stay period: 30 September to 31 December
- Only paid stays count
- Version 1: Complete 10 nights to upgrade to Diamond status
- Version 2: Earn double elite nights, capped at 10 bonus nights
Based on previous years, Version 1 is usually targeted at people who have already accumulated quite a few nights, so it’s not as useful as it may sound.
Version 2, on the other hand, seems to have been handed out to quite a lot of people. Needless to say, I got absolutely nothing! Don’t forget to stack this with IHG’s Q4 promotion, where you can earn up to triple points.
There’s also another targeted promotion worth mentioning, this time for IHG’s partner hotel brand Iberostar.
After successfully registering, book and stay at an Iberostar hotel for four consecutive nights and you’ll receive 40,000 bonus points. If you book through the IHG app, the reward goes up to 50,000 points.
