Accor: instant Gold status, one night to Platinum

Two Accor fast track promotions today. Note that they are mutually exclusive.

Instant Gold

Accor China is pulling out the big guns this time, launching an official promotion offering an instant upgrade to Gold status!

• Promotion period: 24 September to 20 December
• Available to Classic and Silver members whose account address is in Greater China (mainland / Hong Kong / Macao / Taiwan)
• Instantly upgraded to Accor Gold status, with a 90-day trial period
• Complete 5 nights during the trial period and your Gold status will be extended until the end of 2027
• Limited to the first 10,000 registrations

One important catch: if you’ve joined any Accor paid membership programmes such as All Signature or Accor Plus Voyageur, or are currently enrolled in any fast-track status promotions, you’re not eligible for this offer.

Although your account address must be in Greater China (which is hardly a blocker), the 5 qualifying nights can be completed at participating Accor hotels anywhere in the world.

Accor Gold status comes with the following benefits:

• Early check-in
• Late check-out
• Room upgrade
• Welcome drink
• Complimentary breakfast for one person at hotels in mainland China

There’s no reason to say no to free elite status. The promotion page is here, but you’ll have to register in their Wechat mini-program – there’s no webpage for registration.

One Night to Platinum

Meanwhile, Accor’s fast-track promotion is back, and remember to register!

• Your account address and stay location must be in Asia Pacific, the Middle East or Africa (excluding Greater China)
• Book by 30 November
• Stay by 30 December
• Just one paid night is required
• Depending on your current status, you’ll receive bonus qualifying nights

Classic, Silver and Gold members will receive 5 / 7 / 10 qualifying nights respectively after completing the challenge. Platinum and Diamond members are not eligible.

Pay close attention to the regional restrictions – see the full list of eligible countries in the terms and conditions. As usual, you can only participate in Accor’s fast-track promotion once per calendar year, so think carefully before registering.

And, as we’ve discussed before, this kind of promotion can be used to fast-track from Classic status all the way to Platinum. For example:

1. Buy the All Plus China Suprem or Accor Plus membership and get 30 qualifying nights, taking you to Gold
2. Register for this promotion and complete one paid night to receive another 11 qualifying nights in total
3. Buy the All Plus China Premium membership to get another 20 qualifying nights
4. Upgrade to Platinum

Steps 2 and 3 can be done in either order, the end result is the same. Easy peasy as long as you can manage to stay once in one of the participating countries.
