Today, let’s take a look at some of the latest promotions from GHA. First up is a rather long-running App booking promotion, which has once again been extended.
Book through the GHA app and complete your stay by 30 September to earn D$5 per stay. There are no other restrictions beyond booking through the app, and the bonus can also be stacked with other promotions, so it’s still a pretty decent little earner.
There’s also a promotion covering the Pan Pacific family of brands:
- Participating brands: Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL and PARKROYAL Collection
- Book by 30 November
- Stay by 30 December
- Receive D$25, D$50 and D$75 respectively for staying at your second, third and fourth different hotels
The important point is that the hotels have to be different, but they don’t have to be from different brands. Your first stay doesn’t earn anything, so you need at least four stays, and eight nights in total, to max out the D$150 bonus.
The Pan Pacific portfolio isn’t particularly large, with its main presence in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam etc) and Australia. There are several properties in Canada and only one in Europe (London).
There are also at least two other promotions that can be stacked during the same period:
- In Asia-Pacific and Africa, all stays completed by 31 August earn double D$ rewards
- On the Pan Pacific brand’s own website, all stays completed by 31 August also earn double D$ rewards
The cheapest hotels are likely to be found in China and Southeast Asia – expect to pay around $100 per night.
There are plenty of other GHA promotions running as well, but I won’t go through all of them one by one. In general, GHA has a bewildering variety of promotions, and the elite benefits have become fairly decent. The only real downside is that the points system itself is rather straightforward, so there aren’t many interesting ways to play around with it.
