Points Sale
IHG’s points sales seem to be settling into a regular rhythm again. Barely two weeks after the last promotion ended, another one is here. Until 16 July, buying at least 5,000 points earns a 100% bonus (effectively half price). You can purchase up to 300,000 points before the bonus, bringing the cost once again to the familiar half a cent per point.
It’s unclear whether this offer is targeted, and the minimum purchase required to receive the full bonus may vary by account. Note that you’ll need to buy at least 26,000 points to unlock the lowest price. IHG points continue to hold their value reasonably well, so it’s worth considering if you have an upcoming redemption in mind.
Destination Deals
IHG’s recurring Destination Deals promotion has also returned with a fresh round:
- Booking period: 23–28 June
- Stay period: 26 June–7 August
- Up to 30% off participating hotels worldwide
- Book at least three days in advance
- Free cancellation up to seven days before arrival

Anniversary Offers
IHG has also sent out another batch of its anniversary promotions, which are targeted at members whose account anniversary is approaching or has just passed. It’s worth checking whether you’ve been selected.
- Earn 1,000 bonus points per stay for stays within 90 days
- Maximum of 10 stays
- Earn 1,000 bonus points per night for stays within 90 days
