If you haven’t heard already, Joybuy is a relatively new online shopping website that operates in the UK and select European countries. It’s backed by 京东 JD.com which is one of China’s biggest e-commerce platforms.
They sell mainly grocery but also things like electronics. They are, as you may expect, especially good with Asian grocery and I myself have found many good deals from them in the past. They are running a couple of good promotions where you can earn some account credit for free, which I’m sharing today.
The first is a Snap & Save promotion. Its rules are simple:
- Upload a photo of your supermarket receipt
- Earn 2% cashback based on the receipt value, up to 100 points (£1) per receipt
- You can submit up to five receipts per month
The cashback rate isn’t quite as generous as previously, but it’s essentially free money, so there’s no reason not to take advantage. You can also earn extra points by checking in daily and completing various in-app tasks, if you want. Receipts from major UK supermarkets as well as Boots are accepted.
There’s also a Strava-Joybuy challenge currently running. After joining the challenge on Strava, simply complete 11.11 km of activity (including walking) between 15 and 30 June to receive 1,111 Joybuy points, worth £11.11. It’s an incredibly easy challenge, so be sure to register.
If you don’t already have a Joybuy account, you can also use my referral code P5VNXO on your first order to receive £3 off when you spend £10. Joybuy points can be used like cash against online purchases.
