We wrote about Club Marriott recently, Marriott’s exclusive dining program in Asia Pacific, similar to the Accor Plus scheme. I’ve just got hold of more information that could be helpful.
[Hong Kong]
Smart Traveller (Plaza Premium) has negotiated a special deal with Marriott Hong Kong SkyCity hotel for their members:
- Annual fee: 1,300 HKD ($167)
- Two 300 HKD food vouchers
- 50% off discount at Man Ho Chinese Restaurant and SkyCity Bistro
- 30% off discount at other on-property restaurants
In additional to the standard Club Marriott benefits.
[Malaysia]
However, if you are really interested in the program, you should seriously consider the Malaysia version instead.
- Annual fee: 878 MYR ($199)
- One free night hotel voucher
- Two BOGO hotel vouchers
- 500 MYR food vouchers
- One free dinner voucher for two
- Five BOGO dinner vouchers
- 35% off dining at Malaysian hotel restaurants
At the moment there are 21 participating hotels in Malaysia, many of which are in Kuala Lumpur (for example the W) but there are also a few resorts like the Westin Langkawi.

Although more expensive than the Hong Kong version, its welcome package is so much better and the free night on its own already pays off the annual fee if used wisely. Say that you are travelling to Malaysia for a few days, you can easily get $500 value-worth of benefits from those vouchers.
Once you’ve left Malaysia, you’ll continue to enjoy 20% off Best Flexible Rate and up to 30% dining discount in other Asian countries for the rest of the year.
If you want to join, fill out the form online and a salesperson should be in touch shortly.
