Preferred Hotels offer: earn three free nights after one stay

Preferred Hotels brought back their Unforgettable Moments offer which, when all the things are right, could affect your upcoming travel plans.

• The rate plan includes complimentary breakfast, room upgrade an 20,000 bonus points
• You can earn the bonus points only once during the offer period

331 hotels are participating in this promotion, which are visible and can be filtered on the offer page. Although not specified anywhere, it seems that a two-night minimum stay requirement is in place.

Note that you must book a special rate plan to qualify, which may be slightly or much more expensive than the other available rates.

Remember that there exists a Mastercard promotion for new members, giving you instant Titanium status as well as 25,000 bonus points after the first stay. If the two offers can be triggered together (of which we aren’t sure), you’ll earn 45,000 bonus points after a single two-night stay.

Preferred Hotels’ redemption page is here. Strangely award cost is no longer displayed on the page – I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing or they are looking to “enhance” their program.

Redemption starts at 15,000 points and can go over 100,000 points at the luxury properties. If you are going to Bangkok, Lancaster Bangkok and The Landmark Bangkok both cost only 15,000 points, which is a great deal.

I don’t see much value in their redemptions though otherwise, as they appear to be a lot more expensive than through the Choice partnership. That said, if you can find a reasonably priced hotel under this promotion, it might be worth bagging the bonus points.
