It seems that however, Hyatt now offers a status challenge opportunity to those who are elite member with other competing programs. Here’s an email response (in Chinese) shared by @倍多分：
In this particular case, this person emailed Hyatt’s customer service with their Marriott Platinum, Hilton Diamond and IHG Diamond membership card, and got their request approved. Terms are as follows:
- Sign up by November 30, 2024
- You then have 91 days to complete the challenge
- No status trial is offered
- Stay 4 nights for Discoverist, 10 nights for Explorist and 20 nights for Globalist
- You can only request the challenge once every three years
Conditions are quite similar to the two challenges we mentioned above, slightly inferior in that you don’t get the immediate Explorist trial.
The current Bonus Journey promotion lasts until April 30, which makes the challenge much more rewarding should you decide to participate. I don’t know what exactly their acceptance criteria are, but it doesn’t hurt to send a request if you are interested.
