Which hotel groups are rolling over your night credits this year?

All hotel chains have already applied some sort of Covid-19 policies at this point. For their loyalty programmes, this started with the extension of elite status and different kind of vouchers.

However, it’s pretty obvious now that the virus is not going away anytime soon, so some of the chains are already coming up with new ideas. To encourage their members to travel and stay (or at least those who can), three groups have now a night credit rollover policy:

Accor – All nights earned from July – December 2020 will be carried over to the 2021 calendar year.

Hilton – All nights earned from stays in 2020 will automatically be carried over to the 2021 calendar year.

Raddison – All eligible nights and stays earned in 2020 will roll over to 2021 and be applied toward maintaining or increasing your Elite status in 2022.

It is a nice gesture which will make earning status easier next year. Note that Hilton only offers the rollover on night credits, not stays, although the latter is also a qualifying route.
