AirHelp Plus adds Fast Track Pass benefit

We’ve introduced AirHelp Plus a few times before, a special “flight insurance” product. It provides direct cash compensation if your flight or baggage is delayed. When it first launched, you could use it unlimited times, but unfortunately it was cut back after repeated nerfs, and now it only covers up to nine trips per year. That said, I still buy it every year – it only costs less than a hundred euro after all.

Good news: AirHelp Plus has added a new benefit – one free airport fast-track pass per trip. A full list of participating airports can be found here.

  • Europe: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey
  • United States: New York JFK, Seattle, Las Vegas, Denver, Orlando, Minneapolis, Phoenix
  • Canada: Montreal
  • Argentina: Buenos Aires
  • Armenia: Yerevan
  • Thailand: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket
  • Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City

Coverage is mainly in Europe, especially the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, where a large number of airports are included. In the UK in particular, coverage is extensive: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted in London are all on the list.

Note that only one fast-track pass can be used per trip, regardless of how many flights are included. Purchased separately, fast-track security usually costs £5–£20, so this benefit alone can easily pay for itself.

Only newly purchased AirHelp Plus subscriptions include the fast-track benefit, and the price remains unchanged. The 3-trip and 9-trip plans are still €39.99 and €99.99 per year respectively. You can also use the promo code AHPLS5 for 5% off.

To recap, AirHelp Plus coverage includes:

  • Airport lounge access for flight delays of at least 1 hour
  • €100 compensation for flight delays of at least 3 hours
  • €200 compensation for missed connections caused by earlier delays
  • €100 compensation for delayed baggage
  • Free assistance with airline claims under EC261 and similar regulations
