Living up to expectations, IHG’s eight-night Diamond challenge is back!

- Eight paid nights required
- Once completed, upgrade to Diamond status, valid until the end of this year
This is likely targeted at members who failed to requalify last year and were downgraded this year, but it’s still worth trying to see if you’re eligible to register. The biggest Diamond benefit with IHG is complimentary breakfast for two, though in practice you usually need to combine it with the annual lounge pass to maximise the value. All in all, upgrading to Diamond with just eight nights is still very good value.
Meanwhile, according to some online reports the double elite night credit is also back, and you can try your luck here. If eligible, you’ll earn an extra elite night credit for every paid night stayed, up to ten.
