Hilton
Not sure if it’s because the program has just been refreshed, but Hilton seems to be firing on all cylinders, and their efficiency at the start of the year has been impressively high. Just a couple of days ago they updated the status match offer already, and now the annual status requalification results have also been processed. Simply open the app and you should see a prompt like this.
And that indicates you’ve successfully requalified for 2026.
If not, your status will be downgraded at the end of March. That said, even if you didn’t meet the requirements, you might not necessarily be downgraded: Hilton may extend your status by a year, offer a soft landing (down one tier), or drop you all the way back to Blye. Based on last year’s data, it feels rather random.
Marriott
Meanwhile, those with Marriott co-branded cards should check the app, as the elite night credits should have posted by now. One of our readers has already jumped straight to 50 nights and is ready to claim their suite night upgrade awards.
This typically comes from a combination of US Amex personal cards (25 nights) plus business card (15 nights), as well as the recently launched UK Currensea debit card (10 nights). China’s CITIC cards are a bit frustrating in comparison, as the nights only post after the annual fee is charged.
