Buy Accor Plus or All Plus Voyageur and earn bonus points

Accor Plus

The Accor Plus program completed its revamp last month, bringing a mix of pros and cons: more status nights are now awarded, dining discounts are standardised, and the former free night voucher has been replaced by two BOGO vouchers. The biggest downside is that pricing has been unified across regions, so the old trick of buying cheap memberships from Indonesia or Malaysia no longer works.

There are currently two related promotions, the first being a prize draw:

  • Open to residents of Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines
  • Purchase an Accor Plus membership between November 4 and December 4
  • One lucky winner will receive 1,000,000 points

The second offer is more interesting: anyone who purchases Accor Plus by November 30 will earn 2,000 bonus points, as indicated on the subscription page:

2,000 points is worth €40, which kind of offsets the price hike.

A major selling point of Accor Plus is the 30 status nights it provides, perfect to pair with the ongoing All Plus China promotion: getting both Accor Plus and All Plus China Suprem grants you instant Platinum status.

All Plus Voyageur

The other Accor’s subscription plan is All Plus Voyageur, with its own offer too:

  • Purchase between November 12 and November 17
  • Buy an All Plus Voyageur membership and receive 4,500 bonus points
  • Billing address must be in one of the following countries: the U.S., Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, or Puerto Rico

The “billing address” requirement is interesting, and hopefully shouldn’t be too difficult to work around.

The All Plus Voyageur membership normally costs €199, so the €90 worth of bonus points makes for a great rebate. The card itself is modest in benefits, mainly offering 20 status nights:

  • It can’t be stacked with Accor Plus
  • It can, however, stack with All Plus China

You could purchase All Plus Voyageur and two All Plus China Premium cards to hit Platinum’s 60-night threshold too, which works out more cost effective than the option above.

Dining Rewards

Finally there’s a dining-focused promotion:

  • Valid in certain countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa
  • Offer window: November 10 to March 22
  • Earn triple points when dining at participating restaurants

You don’t need to be staying at the hotel – just provide your Accor membership number when paying. Normally, you earn 1 point per €1, so tripling that means roughly a 6% rebate in value.
