As reported by many bloggers elsewhere, Hilton drastically raised the award night pricing cap at many hotels globally a couple of days ago. An award night can cost as much as 250,000 points now at certain properties. This has happened over and over again in the last couple of years and it’s become absurd.
I don’t want to spend too much time complaining about how bad this is. Here’s a price-change chart that I’ve complied for selected hotels, which you may use for future reference.
