35,000 points is enough for two nights at some hotels in Bangkok and Shanghai. With iPrefer you’ll likely need to chase your points, but they arrive eventually.

From what’s described in the terms, the gift card can only be used to settle the reservation cost. It would be more interesting if they can offset incidentals on award stays booked via Hilton.
