It’s interesting to see how many businesses are running a de facto Singles Day promotion this year, an odd commercial festival that was invented by Alibaba in China. Latest arrival to the party is Preferred Hotels.

Although bookings are limited to the Chinese site, you can book over 500 hotels globally. I can actually see the special rate on the English site too, but probably don’t risk it.
Klaus K in Helsinki is one of the cheapest Preferred Hotels in Europe.
Preferred Hotels used to offer 30,000 bonus points in their Black Friday offer, much more attractive than this Singles Day offer. We might see the 30K offer coming back in a couple of weeks?
Points can be redeemed for award nights and the range is very wide. Some potentially good deals are:

I’ve had some experiences with Preferred Hotels now. It’s likely you need to chase them for the points to post, but it works out eventually.
You can also sign up with a special link to get instant Titanium status, plus 25,000 bonus points after the first stay. According to the terms however, bonus points cannot stack.
