A new Virgin Atlantic’s sale on their reward tickets have just landed.

- Valid on all routes and all cabin classes
- 25% off the points needed for any reward ticket
25% off is towards the lower end of Virgin’s such sales, but any saving is not to be sniffed at. If you have the companion / upgrade voucher from Virgin’s credit card, they can be combined with the promotional discount.
The main problem however is Virgin’s scandalous carrier imposed surcharges especially on the U.S. routes. The cost might not work out with say even 75% discount in many cases.
Shanghai is an exception and even better, has been priced mistakenly (to our favour) in such sales very consistently. PVG is somehow treated like India and the actual discount is more like 50% off!
Virgin’s upper class has been the main way for my family and me to travel between UK and China. However, the route is going to terminate in just one month unfortunately.

£50 is a pretty decent discount, especially for cheaper economy flights.
