Accor’s two “business cards”, Accor Plus Voyager and Accor Plus Ibis, have just launched a particularly generous promotion. This one is worth taking a serious look at.
- Your account address must be in Europe, the Americas or North Africa
- Purchase the membership by 20 November
- Make a booking using the corresponding Accor Plus rate by 20 November
- Complete the stay by 22 January 2027
- Receive Accor points worth the full annual membership fee
The only apparent barrier is the account address — but in reality, that’s not much of a barrier.
Accor points can be used directly towards the cost of a hotel stay, making them roughly equivalent to cash. For a more advanced use, you can also redeem them for concert and sports tickets through the Limitless Experiences platform.
Accor Plus Ibis costs €99 per year and gives you 5,000 Accor points worth €100. The main benefits are 15% off at ibis hotels and 10 status nights.
Accor Plus Voyager costs €179 per year and gives you 9,000 Accor points worth €180. Its main benefits are 15% off across a much wider range of Accor brands and 20 status nights.
The 15% discount applies to publicly available rates, including the Best Flexible Rate and prepaid rates. During flash sales, you can sometimes stack it with additional discounts as well.
On their own, these two memberships aren’t necessarily particularly exciting. Their biggest attraction is generally the status nights they provide. In theory, they share the annual 30-night cap with Accor Plus Explorer and the All Signature programme. If combined with All Plus China, you can potentially reach 50 status nights — but note that you need to purchase Accor Plus Voyager first, and only then purchase the All Plus China package.
They can also be combined with the “one night to Platinum” fast-track offer:
- Buy both Accor Plus Voyager and Ibis and receive 30 status nights, taking you to Gold
- Register for the fast-track
- Purchase All Plus China, receiving another 20 nights
- Complete one stay and earn another 11 nights, plus 14,000 points
- Reach Platinum
Note that for this promotion, you need to book one night using the dedicated Accor Plus rate and actually complete the stay in order to receive the bonus points. There are plenty of participating hotels, so this shouldn’t be difficult.
The “one night to Platinum” promotion, on the other hand, has geographical restrictions on where you can stay: Europe and Greater China are excluded.
Purely from the perspective of buying status nights, the three Accor Plus memberships are essentially alternatives to each other.
Accor Plus Explorer offers more status nights and considerably more useful benefits (in Asia Pacific), while the other two are cheaper — and with this promotion, the effective cashback is particularly impressive.
