2026 Q1 Promotion
IHG is the first to announce its 2026 Q1 promotion: from January 1 to March 31, 2026, you can earn double points starting from your second stay.
The promo is quite average, and starting from the second stay is always a bit annoying; but you might as well register anyway.
New Hotels
IHG has also refreshed its 15% off promotion for new hotels. Until February 28, 2026, you can redeem points for reward nights at selected new properties with a 15% discount.
Some of the hotels are:
- InterContinental Sapporo, Japan
- voco Kyoto Shijo Karasuma, Japan
- HUALUXE Chongqing Wushan, China
- Hotel Indigo Krakow Wawel Castle, Poland
Buy Points offer
Finally, IHG is selling points again: until December 11, you can receive a 100% bonus (equivalent to half price) when buying at least 40,000 points in a single transaction, with a maximum purchase of 300,000 points (excluding the bonus). After the discount, it’s the same old rate of 0.5c per point.
It’s unclear whether this is targeted; some accounts may see different thresholds for receiving the bonus.
