Cathay Pacific’s year-end promotion is back, a small but easy way to earn some bonus miles.
- Promotion period: November 3 to January 6
- Earn miles through two travel partners
- Receive an additional 1,000 bonus miles
- Bonus miles will be credited by March 31
You can find the full list of eligible partners on the campaign page. Some of the key partners include:
- Badazhou
- Ctrip
- SIXT / Avis / Hertz
- Hotel chains such as Marriott, IHG and Accor
The easiest way to qualify is through small point transfers, for example:
- Marriott: 3,000 points = 1,000 miles
- Badazhou: 5,000 points = 240 miles (including a 20% bonus)
I don’t actively collect Cathay miles myself, but have gathered a small balance over the years from promotions like this.
