We write often about Trip.com, which runs very regular and diversified promotions on flight, train and attraction tickets. Their parent company Ctrip is one of China’s biggest travel agencies, and sometimes they have offers valid for the overseas market too.
There is now a promotion to celebrate China’s National Day, great if you need to buy train tickets in Hong Kong, South Korea, UK or Europe. The promotion is available in Ctrip’s mobile app only – open this link or scan the following QR code on your phone.
The promotion runs until October 12 and supply refreshes daily. Some offers are:
- 100 CNY discount for Hong Kong (101 CNY minimum spend applies)
- (New member only) 70% off UK / France / Europe / South Korea trains
- (All members) 70% off Eurostar / Heathrow Express / LNER / Renfe / Trenitalia
Plus some other coupons.
If the stock has run out, come back the next day. Some coupons may have very short expiry so make sure you purchase quickly. This is one of my favourite promotions, making Heathrow Express much more affordable.
