IHG Destined (previously known as the IHG Luxury & Lifestyle Collection) is IHG’s preferred-partner program. Bookings made through an eligible travel advisor or agency come with extra perks such as free breakfast, room upgrades, and a $100 dining credit. The program mainly covers Regent, InterContinental, and Kimpton, with occasional participation from Hotel Indigo and Vignette properties.
Most major hotel chains have a similar program, but IHG Destined stands out thanks to its regular “nth-night free” promotions – offering extra savings on top of the standard benefits.
A fresh round of “nth-night free” launched in July and is valid for stays through June 2026. You can find the full list on this Flyertalk thread, but here are some 3-for-2 highlights:
- InterContinental London Park Lane (review here)
- Kimpton Clocktower Hotel Manchester (review here)
- Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam
- InterContinental Athens Palace Bucharest
- InterContinental Geneva
- InterContinental Madrid
- Regent Hong Kong
- InterContinental The Strings Tokyo
- Six Senses Kyoto
- InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland (review here)
- InterContinental Singapore
- InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit
- InterContinental Sydney Double Bay
- InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf
Personally, I use preferred rates most often for one-night stays or when there’s a 3-for-2 promotion like this. To book through IHG Destined, you’ll need a qualified travel advisor, and Bazhou (available on WeChat) has automated the process to make it hassle-free.
