If you have an ITA Airways account, there’s a a quick and free 2,000 miles up for grab. Simply log in to your ITA Volare account and you’ll see the following banner:
As it suggests, just update your profile by July 31st and you’ll earn 2,000 points . I’m not sure what “updating your profile” means – mine was already rather complete, so I just edited my address and hopefully that would qualify me for the bonus.
On a side note, I’m very annoyed by their rubbish IT. I was prompted to change my password, which is like the third time in the last two or three years. They wouldn’t allow me to reuse an old password so I’m running out of ideas!
ITA Airways is set to join the Lufthansa Group and many reciprocal benefits are already in place. It’s very likely they’ll become part of the Miles and More program in the near future, which means their points will become Lufthansa miles.
