Error fare: Cairo – London / Canada in business class from £200

Let’s be quick:

• Route: Cairo – Bahrain – London – Canadian cities
• The first two segments are operated by Gulf Air; the last by Air Canada
• You must use the multi-city search feature to find the special fare
• Business class fare starts at £200

Availability is wide open. Note that you cannot stay more than 24 hours in London, so it’s essentially still a one-way ticket.

Even if you don’t want to go to Canada, it’s still an excellent fare for travelling from Cairo to London. I’ve been told the fare bucket is J for Gulf Air which credits 125% to Cathay or 175% to Etihad, and Z for Air Canada.

I suggest purchasing from the big names such as Expedia and Booking.com, so that at least you have someone to talk to in case a refund is due. Airlines are becoming less and less likely to honour error fares nowadays.
