Hyatt runs occasional promotions where you can earn airline miles on top of your Hyatt points for your stays. One currently running promotion is with Etihad:
- Register by July 1
- Stay between May 15 and July 14
- Participating regions: Europe, Middle East, Africa
- Earn 1,000 Etihad miles per stay
The other offer is with JAL:
- Register by July 31
- Stay between July 1 and August 31
- Participating region: Asia Pacific, some brands and properties excluded
- Earn 500 JAL miles on your first stay
As these miles are in addition to the usual Hyatt points, you should sign up even if you are only a casual earner in the two airline programs.
