[Accor]
Accor has had status acceleration offers from time to time where members can earn as much as 30 night credits from just one stay. It looks like a new offer has come back.
You can sign up here. The page is in German but you can use Google Translate to help.
- Book by December 30
- Stay by December 31
- Exclusive for business travellers
- Classic / Silver / Gold members will receive a one-time credit of 5 / 15 / 20 nights respectively after one stay
From the terms and conditions it seems to be targeting corporate travellers and you must book a corporate rate. Historically it has been a hit-a-miss so it might and might not work out for you.
As I’m already Platinum I’m not eligible to register. Note that you’ve already signed up to other fast track offers in the past you might not be able to sign up to this one.
[Shangri-La]
Meanwhile, Shangri-La also launched a fast track promotion for HSBC Premier customers, although it seems to be open to everyone: stay 10 paid nights by the end of 2025 and upgrade to the Jade membership, which usually requires 20 nights.
As Shangri-La has ceased partnership with American Express you can no longer get a free Jade card with Amex Platinum. This fast track offer which halves the requirement is likely one of the best offers out there.
Although the benefits are decent (free breakfast and welcome amenity), Shangri-La’s footprint is very limited so it’s not going to be useful to many people.
Does the Accor offer work together with Accor Plus?
I’m German, I travel for business in Germany and Europe and I’m currently Accor gold member, yet I get a message that the offer is not valid for me.
Maybe because I’m an Accor Plus member. I’ve an old accor test account that I didn’t use for years and that account could register.
Quite possible as Accor Plus is conflictual with many things
