Marriott Gold & Platinum fast track for big company employees

Marriott’s Platinum status is well sought after, as it comes with handy perks including room upgrade, free breakfast and lounge access. If you work for a large company, you may qualify for a fast track offer that grants you access to such elite status sooner.

The list of participating companies keeps changing, and they are eligible for different variations of the offer. I guess it depends on how much business the company has contributed to Marriott’s revenue in the previous quarter or so.

Unfortunately I haven’t found any link for instant Platinum Upgrade this time, so please get in touch if you have one. The offer might become more generous in April when the new financial year starts.

The following companies are eligible for the Platinum Challenge:

The following companies are eligible for the Gold Upgrade & Challenge:

If you enrol in the Upgrade & Challenge offer, you’ll be granted a status trial straightaway. If you enrol in the Challenge offer, your status won’t change until you’ve completed the challenge.

Offer rules are:

  • You need a corporate email address to validate
  • You can enrol as a new member, or with your existing Member/Silver/Gold account
  • (Platinum challenge) Complete 15 paid nights in the next three months to get or keep your status
  • (Gold challenge) Complete 8 paid nights in the next three months to keep your status
  • You can only participate once every three years

The challenge period terminates at the end of the third following calendar month, so it’s best to enrol at the beginning of a month. For example, if you start on February 1, you should have until May 31 to complete the challenge. Once completed, your Marriott status will be valid through March 2027.

If you (or anyone you know) work for an eligible company, it’s worth considering taking Marriott up on the challenge, but be careful about the timing.

    Hi, it says
“Stay 15 paid nights from 3/1/2024 through 6/1/2024 to keep your Platinum Elite status for up to one year.”

According to your post, however, I can get Platium benefits through March 2026. Which is right?

If I’d like to request you to check that I already have stayed 15 nights in the period, where do I need to send an email?

I applied for a promotion, but there was a problem. The existing membership number is X, and the platinum promotion membership number is Y. Is it possible to apply the platinum promotion with the existing membership number?

  9. Jack says:

How long did it take to receive the confirmation from Marriott? I confirmed the email already and it states “Note that it may take up to 48 hours for your account to reflect the promotion.” but what will show on my account or will I receive another email with a new membership number specifically for this promo?

I have confirmed that it has been changed to platinum grade.
    However, I have 3 questions.
    1. Until when do I have to fill out the 15 days of stay?
    2. Does the bonus stay date added as a promotion also reflect the number of stay days to maintain platinum grade?
3.How many nights are currently reflected in my platinum promotion?

I came on a business trip to China this year, so I’m going to stay for about 100 days. I hope the deadline for maintaining the platinum rating is late.

I would appreciate it if you could give me a quick response.
