Hilton has had a special campaign since 2021 for its luxury hotel brands – Waldorf Astoria, LXR and Conrad. By booking the specific rate you can take advantage of $150 daily credit throughout your stay.

Reference to the “two-night minimum” requirement is gone from the offer page, but from what I can see it still applies. Looks too good to be true? Well you are right – you must book the specific rate plan, which is more expensive than the Best Flexible Rate.
The excess was quite small when the offer was first introduced in 2021, but the gap has widen up gradually. I’ve check a few properties in the UK and Europe, and the excess is more than £100 per night, making the offer totally pointless.
If you want to find a deal, you’ll have a shot in Asia. Here are some examples with their respective exclusive rate and member-only BFR:

You are effectively buying the dining credit at 50% – 60% discount, and it might work for some people especially when you are staying at a resort. However, remember that Advance Purchase and other sale rates may be available, which are even cheaper than the BFR if you are happy to sacrifice the flexibility.
An alternative is to book via FHR or the Hilton Impresario program (available through Badazhou). The downside is you are only entitled to $100 credit for the whole stay, but you’ll pay no more, maybe even less than the BFR.
