Qantas, Australia’s national carrier, is running an enticing flash sale for hotel bookings on their platform.

- Minimum spend: 100 AUD (£50.85 / $65.08)
- Earn 5,000 points per booking
- You can earn the bonus three times
By international, I assume they mean hotels outside Australia. Besides the bonus you’ll also earn 3 points / 1 AUD on the booking, so say you spend just over 300 AUD on three bookings, you’ll earn approximately 16,000 points in total.
You can find Qantas’s redemption chart here. A short-haul flight costs from 8,000 points on Qantas and 10,000 points with its partner airlines. Qantas is an Oneworld member, but they’ve also teamed up with other airlines including China Airlines, China Eastern, Air France, Bangkok Airways and Emirates.
I don’t think it’s worth starting collecting Qantas points just for this promotion, but if you are a collector already, the promotion works pretty well on cheap hotel stays.
