Almost 400 SLH hotels are now bookable on Hilton and they’ve just made an official announcement.
Only scattered dates were bookable when they tested the release last couple of times, but it has been fixed now. In general you get around 0.6c per point when redeeming at SLH properties, which is quite decent – a better deal than redeeming at Hilton hotels themselves.
There are outsized values here and there, and Maldives is an example:
The best SLH hotel in China, Qiushui Villa at Hangzhou, is a massive bargain at 130,000 points (was 40,000 Hyatt points).
The Sowaka hotel in Kyoto seems mispriced. The Deluxe Maisonette and Deluxe with Private Garden room types, both quite a few levels above standard rooms, are available for redemption for 120,000 points.
I believe their best room – Suite – was also available for standard redemption earlier. But I cannot find any Suite anymore, not sure if they’re all booked out or if it’s closed by the hotel / Hilton.
Availability can go very quickly at popular properties.

SLH broke up with Hyatt and joined a partnership with Hilton earlier this year. Three SLH hotels landed in Hilton’s booking system about two weeks ago, and more are joining the party.
According to Hilton’s dedicated page, there are a total of 17 SLH hotels available at the moment. Here’s what is costs in cash and points at some of the properties.
- UK, Grove of Narbeth £294 / 50,000
- Switzerland, The View Lugano 612 CHF / 110,000
- Italy, Hotel Regency Florence €359 / 80,000
- Italy, Villa Spalletti Trivelli Rome €470 / 105,000
- Spain, Teranka €1,470 / 110,000
- Denmarl, Nimb Hotel Copenhagen 7,742 DKK / 120,000
- US, Hermitage Bay St Mary $1519 / 130,000
- US, Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa Jackson $391 / 94,000
Value proposition is generally good, especially so at some of them such as Teranka and the Nimb. The catch is, availability is tricky to find, if not non-existent at many of the hotels, so you may want to check back later.
As a Hilton Honors member you’ll enjoy the usual benefits, such as room upgrade and free breakfast for Gold and Diamond elites.
