There are two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>55,000 points &#8211; \u00a3161<\/li><li>35,000 points &#8211; \u00a3103<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The 55,000 points one works out slightly better, although at the time of writing it&#8217;s temporarily sold out (<strong>UPDATE<\/strong>: still available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/amazon-de-melia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Amazon DE<\/a> at the same price). You are paying roughly <strong>\u00a330<\/strong> for 10,000 Melia points, which is close to the record low. In last-month&#8217;s points sale on Melia&#8217;s website, the price was \u20ac35.7 (~\u00a332) per 10,000 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we&#8217;ve discussed before (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2020\/06\/11\/melia-selling-points-at-lowest-price-ever-with-a-caveat-however\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2020\/06\/10\/hotel-loyalty-program-series-melia-rewards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">here<\/a>), it&#8217;s very easy to outsmart Melia when redeeming your points on hotels. It&#8217;s not a great rate, but if BA decides to run 30% conversion bonus in the future, then you are now &#8220;buying&#8221; Avios at roughly <strong>0.77p<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that these are physical paper vouchers shipped to your address and you need to visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.melia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Melia&#8217;s website<\/a> to redeem them. Once redeemed, they function as normal Melia points and have the same expiry rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/amazon-es-melia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Amazon Spain<\/a> also runs (even better) deals on the same Melia voucher. Although it&#8217;s not the case now, as Black Friday in approaching I&#8217;ll keep an eye on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/amazon-es-melia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the relevant page<\/a> in case it comes back.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve written about Melia quite a few times on this blog.
