However to get the best visual of BA&#8217;s routes and availability I recommend to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishairways.com\/travel\/low-price-finder\/public\/en_gb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">their low fare finder tool<\/a>. Note that the prices shown for European routes are per-way though, so you need to multiply them by two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the best destination for tier points run, departing from London:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bucharest \u00a3234<\/li><li>Catania \u00a3228<\/li><li>Gibraltar \u00a3272<\/li><li>Gran Canaria \u00a3256<\/li><li>Istanbul \u00a3274<\/li><li>Malta \u00a3236<\/li><li>Paphos \u00a3248<\/li><li>Reykjavik \u00a3224<\/li><li>Sofia \u00a3198<\/li><li>Tenerife \u00a3272<\/li><li>Thessaloniki \u00a3290<\/li><li>Tirana \u00a3194<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All these routes earn you <strong>160 TP<\/strong> for one return trip. Remember that BA has dropped their qualification criteria by 30%. You need 210 \/ 420 \/ 1050 TP to earn Bronze \/ Silver \/ Gold status, which means 2 \/ 3 \/ 7 return trips respectively, if you start from scratch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now is probably the cheapest time to obtain BA status in its history. To be fair some of these routes (namely Sofia and Tirana) do sell in the region of \u00a3200 occasionally in previous sales, but I&#8217;ve never seen discount in such a massive scale before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, there are still way too many uncertainties around travelling now. However, given BA&#8217;s flexible booking policy it may not be a huge problem, as you could receive a future travel voucher should you not wish to travel anymore for any reason.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British Airways is running yet another sale.
