Marriott owns a few luxury country hotels in the UK, the most popular one probably being the Langley<\/a> near London. There is one in Scotland as well, Trump Turnberry<\/a>, which happens to be a member of the Luxury Collection too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This hotel tends to be quite expensive, which makes redemption (35,000 points) an attractive deal. However, the hotel is running some very good promotions at the moment which may change that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a weekend in August<\/a>, you can the see the regular rate is \u00a3440 per night, for two people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This especially makes sense to those with no Marriott status, as the benefits can easily add up to more than \u00a3150’s worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There is also an All in at Turnberry<\/em> rate, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Free breakfast<\/li>
    • \u00a3250 resort credit per stay<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Note that a minimum two-night stay is required for the second rate. It costs \u00a3349 per night, so compared to the first rate plan you are essentially trading \u00a3100 and \u00a3160 dinner credit for \u00a3250 credit, assuming a two-night stay, which doesn’t seem to be very logical…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
