<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAs far as I know it is as cheap as it ever gets. The offer however, seems targeted and most people only get 45% off instead, which is still quite decent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, there’s a reason Choice is being so generous. Just last month, the programme significantly repriced its Japanese portfolio, with award rates for almost every hotel in Tokyo increasing dramatically. As a result, Choice points have taken a substantial hit in value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That doesn’t mean there are no sweet spots left, though. Some of the better redemption options still include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Comfort Suites Tokyo Bay, along with most Choice hotels outside Tokyo, still pricing at just 8,000 points per night.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Hotel Aquarius in Venice for 20,000 points, which can represent excellent value during peak season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Many Nordic hotels have also become more expensive, but a number of properties still compare favourably against their cash rates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
