This route is already bookable for award redemption on BA and Finnair\u2019s websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, pricing is the same as Helsinki &#8211; Bangkok, meaning the Bangkok &#8211; Melbourne leg is effectively free. Sample pricing is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Economy: 30,000 + \u20ac98.39<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Premium Economy: 43,500 + \u20ac118.39<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Business: 62,500 + \u20ac173.39<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Exact taxes vary slightly depending on the flight choice and direction, but they\u2019re broadly similar. I&#8217;m not sure if makes a difference whether you book via BA or Finnair, as both allow you to cancel an award ticket for a small fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2025\/10\/18\/my-review-of-finnair-a350-business-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">I reviewed Finnair\u2019s business class not long ago<\/a>, and the experience was excellent.
