There\u2019s a similar program within Oneworld <a href=\"https:\/\/rj.statusmatch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">from Royal Jordanian<\/a>, but that one has strict residency requirements that many readers cannot meet; Royal Air Maroc doesn\u2019t have any residency restrictions, but it\u2019s much more expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some accepted airlines include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Air Canada<\/strong> 25K \u2192 Silver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>United<\/strong> Premier Silver \u2192 Silver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lufthansa<\/strong> Senator \u2192 Gold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SAS<\/strong> Gold and above \u2192 Gold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Virgin Atlantic<\/strong> (Silver\/Gold match accordingly)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Air France KLM<\/strong> (Silver\/Gold\/Platinum match accordingly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that not all airlines can be matched to Platinum. For hotel statuses, they seem to accept almost anything, for example Marriott and IHG Silver, though the highest you can get is Silver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oneworld has fewer airlines than the other two alliances, but their benefits are quite strong. <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Ruby <\/mark><\/strong>beats Star Alliance Silver by a mile; <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Sapphire <\/mark><\/strong>is roughly equivalent to Star Alliance Gold and SkyTeam Elite Plus already; and <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">Emerald <\/mark><\/strong>gets you into first-class lounges. If you have a real need and the cost seems acceptable, it could be worth considering &#8211; but the application fees really are steep.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"801\" height=\"446\" src=\"http:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22596\" style=\"width:500px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster.jpg 801w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster-768x428.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 801px) 100vw, 801px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The 3x status booster is also worth mentioning: after your status match succeeds, during <strong>January 2026<\/strong> you\u2019ll earn <strong>triple <\/strong>status miles when flying Royal Air Maroc. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2025\/02\/09\/royal-air-maroc-status-booster-offer-earn-oneworld-emerald-in-one-trip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">We\u2019ve covered this booster before<\/a>; normally it costs \u20ac198 for 90 days and is practically a requalification cheat code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, one Beijing &#8211; Casablanca round-trip in Economy Classic under the status booster offer is enough to requalify for Gold in one trip (35,000 elite miles). Routes like Beijing &#8211; Casablanca &#8211; Spain sometimes drop to amazingly low fares, though based on what I just checked, it seems there aren\u2019t such deals in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You could also make short-haul mileage runs, but unless you\u2019re based in Casablanca, getting enough miles in one month is tough. And note that their mileage earning was recently culled: the cheapest economy and business fares now earn only 50% and 150% (down from 100% and 200%). Check your fare class before booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, if I remember correctly, they do have a soft-landing policy which might change the game if you could match to the top-tier Platinum status.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another Oneworld airline, Royal Air Maroc, has launched a new status match offer.
