But in any case, applications are open. The match isn\u2019t free, but it\u2019s just <strong>$1<\/strong>, which is practically nothing. If all goes well, you\u2019ll receive a Star Alliance <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Gold <\/mark><\/strong>card, giving you priority check-in and boarding, extra baggage allowance, fast-track security, and lounge access on airlines like the Lufthansa Group, United, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines and ANA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main issue is the lack of official info, so which airlines are eligible can only be determined by trial and error. Currently, I\u2019ve only found eight eligible airlines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jetblue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>American Airlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>British Airways<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Iberia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finnair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air France\/KLM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lufthansa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And many others confirmed ineligible: Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, ITA, SAS, Royal Jordanian, all Chinese airlines including Cathay Pacific&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you find other eligible airlines, feel free to share. Interestingly, Lufthansa is listed despite being in the same alliance, probably a manual error.
