I was reminded by a reader recently that the deal is still live, and actually with an even cheaper option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Summary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Route: Tunis \u2013 Amman \u2013 Bangkok \u2013 Hong Kong \/ Kuala Lumpur \/ Colombo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first two legs are operated by Royal Jordanian, whereas the last one by Cathay, Malaysia or Sri Lankan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-way fare starts from \u00a3460<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free stopovers are permitted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is essentially a special fare by Royal Jordanian for departure from Tunis, with the option to connect to a few Asian destinations in conjunction with their Oneworld partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a pretty good fare but then you need to arrive at Tunis first. The Tunis segment is flown by the smaller A320 aircraft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2024\/02\/16\/my-review-of-royal-jordanians-a321-business-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">but the recliner seat is still pretty decent<\/a>. Amman &#8211; Bangkok is one of RJ&#8217;s few long haul routes and on the 787 Dreamliner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fare buckets are either C or D which credits 125% &#8211; 150% to most Oneworld programs. It will earn roughly 1,700 TP in BA&#8217;s new program, or 2,200 EP in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2025\/02\/13\/gist-of-the-new-club-iberia-plus-program-dump-ba\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Iberia&#8217;s<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last May we wrote about a business class deal from Tunis from Royal Jordanian.
