Oneworld operates four airline lounges at San Francisco, and I need to choose one before boarding my BA flight to London<\/a>. I didn’t hesitate a second to skip The AA Admirals Club and Alaska lounge thanks to my past experience, and the Cathay lounge is also a no-go due to very limited opening hours:<\/p>\n\n\n

That leaves only the BA lounge. Like many other US (and UK) airports outbound traffic is mixed at SFO which means AA and Alaska Air passengers can visit the BA lounge too even when flying domestic. As a result the BA lounge often suffers overcrowding and access is restricted to BA passengers only at peak times.<\/p>\n\n\n

Fortunately it’s not as busy as I had thought, as there are still empty seats scattered around. Upon entering the lounge, the first room features a small business zone and two bars.<\/p>\n\n\n
