SAS had a status match campaign last year, which was very low key and didn’t last long. As flagged by a reader, the offer has made a return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign is open to elite members of BA, Lufthansa, Finnair and Air France \/ KLM. I expect eligible applicants to be matched to SAS’s Gold <\/mark><\/strong>tier at least, if not Diamond<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that in additional to the membership card, you must have flown once with SAS in the last 6 months or have a future non-refundable booking. It’s hardly a hurdle though – a flight ticket from Stockholm to Copenhagen costs \u00a342:<\/p>\n\n\n

SAS is currently a Star Alliance member, but they’ll leave on August 31 and join Skyteam seamlessly on September 1. To keep your Star Gold status, you could apply for Lufthansa’s status match<\/a> once your SAS application has been approved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
