{"id":17030,"date":"2023-10-21T13:54:40","date_gmt":"2023-10-21T12:54:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/?p=17030"},"modified":"2024-06-07T17:59:53","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T16:59:53","slug":"search-award-tickets-using-chatgpt-seats-aero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2023\/10\/21\/search-award-tickets-using-chatgpt-seats-aero\/","title":{"rendered":"Search reward flights with ChatGPT &#038; Seats.aero"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you haven never heard of <a href=\"https:\/\/seats.aero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Seats.aero<\/a>, they are an online search engine for award flight availability, kind of like Seatspy except that they have data of many frequent flyer programs, including United MileagePlus, AAdvantage, Delta Skymiles, Air Canada Aeroplan and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most importantly Seats.aero is <strong>free <\/strong>as long as your search date is within the next two months. However they don&#8217;t have the best UI &#8211; you need to switch between programs, and the Excel-inspired interface is a pain when you need to search for multiple dates and cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good news is, Seats.aero has now <a href=\"https:\/\/seats.aero\/chatgpt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">developed a plugin<\/a> that is available on ChatGPT&#8217;s plugin store. Note that you must pay $24 per month for ChatGPT Plus to use that feature, although the plugin itself is free.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/chatpgt-plugin-store-seats-aero.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"329\" src=\"http:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/chatpgt-plugin-store-seats-aero.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17026\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/chatpgt-plugin-store-seats-aero.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/10\/chatpgt-plugin-store-seats-aero-300x197.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>GPT&#8217;s backend has full access to Seats.aero&#8217;s data, and you can query using natural language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can name a city, country or region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can specify a date or a date range<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can specify the airline or alliance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can narrow down the search results by adding restrictions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It appears that you can&#8217;t specify the frequent flyer program though (e.g. Aeroplan).
