I&#8217;ve chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/courtyard-santa-monica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Courtyard Santa Monica<\/a> to spend my first night, reasons being:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Santa Monica is an area recommended by my friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My flight arrives late, and Santa Monica is relatively close to the airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As it&#8217;s just a short transition before I head into the city, I don&#8217;t need a full-service hotel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/courtyard-santa-monica-beach.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/courtyard-santa-monica-beach.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14138\" width=\"484\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/courtyard-santa-monica-beach.jpg 967w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/courtyard-santa-monica-beach-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/12\/courtyard-santa-monica-beach-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a quick 20-minute&#8217;s drive from the LAX-IT ride pick-up site. The hotel isn&#8217;t at the forefront of the waterside, but is only about 15 minutes to the beach and it&#8217;s easy to navigate on foot. I should have just accepted the points instead&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My 4pm late checkout was granted when I checked in, however the cleaner and manager still came to knock on my door twice knowing when I was going to depart.
