After almost ten phone calls to Air Serbia’s call centre, I finally managed to book my business class ticket from Heathrow to Belgrade using Etihad Guest miles<\/a>. I don’t think many people have ever travelled with them, so it’s worth writing a brief trip review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Air Serbia uses Heathrow’s Terminal 4. Business class passengers can use the fast track security facility as well as the Plaza Premium Lounge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

We are flying on the A319 aircraft today. From what Google Images returns, some of their A319 fleet appear to have proper business class seats (similar to the First Class<\/em> concept on US and China’s domestic routes), but in my case it’s just the economy-class-with-empty-middle-seat configuration, with which I’m sure you are familiar in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n

However the legroom does feel more generous than say, British Airways.<\/p>\n\n\n

I had the fish, which is okay.<\/p>\n\n\n

All flight attendants are very nice, greeting business class passengers individually at the beginning and the end of the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2h30 journey is uneventful, so just a couple of more words on my arrival. Exiting the airport is impressively quick, as it took me like five minutes to pass immigration and collect my luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You could collect a fixed-rate taxi voucher from the office on the left when you enter the arrival hall. However they might not be respected – the taxi driver still wanted 3,000 dinars from me in lieu of 2,200 dinars, which isn’t extortionate but still a shame.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
