The game has just got more interesting for us who are based in the UK, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/currensea-marriott\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">Currensea recently introduced two new co-branded debit cards to the market<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite being debit cards they are actually quite decent (much better than the Hilton ones), but I&#8217;m not going into details. Both cards come with annual night credits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard: 10 night credits, \u00a355 annual fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Premium: up to 20 night credits, \u00a3175 annual fee <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(If you want to apply, <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/currensea-marriott\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">my referral<\/a> (code <strong>KZ2GGP<\/strong>) gives both of us 2,000 Marriott points, once you&#8217;ve made a transaction within 30 days.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More importantly, they are compatible with existing UK, US and Chinese products. Once I received and activated my card the credit hit my Marriott account instantaneously:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/marriott-night-credit-2025.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"916\" src=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/marriott-night-credit-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25894\" style=\"width:300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/marriott-night-credit-2025.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/marriott-night-credit-2025-197x300.jpg 197w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I hold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chase Marriott Boundless (15)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verylvke.com\/en\/2025\/05\/19\/i-got-the-citic-marriott-platinum-credit-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">CITIC Platinum<\/a> (10)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currensea (10)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That adds up to the 35 on my account. I also hold the UK Marriott Amex but it doesn&#8217;t combine with Chase and I might cancel it soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Can you do better? Definitely and here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Amex Marriott Brilliant (25)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amex Business Marriott (15)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CITIC Platinum Premium (15)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currensea Premium (20)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So in theory you could get 75 night credits purely by holding the right credit cards and qualify for Titanium already at the beginning of each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trick probably works on the Japanese or Indian cards too but I&#8217;m not familiar with them so can&#8217;t comment.
